How to Farm Studs Fast in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

How to Farm Studs Fast in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

If you want to buy out every character, vehicle, and upgrade in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, you need a serious pile of studs. The game throws plenty of shiny coins at you during normal play, but if you want to clear the shop without grinding for hours, you need a proper farming strategy.

The best method involves replaying the early levels with a fully upgraded stud multiplier. First, unlock the "Studs x2" red brick from the Batcave hub. You can find it by smashing the silver objects near the Batcomputer. Once you have that, replay the first level, "The Joker's Return," in free play mode. Use characters with super strength to break all the gold objects and characters with grapple hooks to reach high ledges. Every destructible object and hidden area in this level is packed with studs.

Focus on building combos. If you collect studs without taking damage, the multiplier keeps climbing. Blue studs become gold, and gold studs turn into giant purple studs worth 10,000 each. Use Robin or Nightwing for their acrobatic moves to dodge enemy attacks while you hoover up the cash.

Once you have enough studs, buy the "Studs x4" red brick from the shop. Then go back and farm the same level again. The multiplier stacks. With x2 and x4 active, every stud you pick up is worth eight times its normal value. Later, unlock "Studs x6" and "Studs x8" to get a massive 96x multiplier. At that point, a single playthrough of any level will net you over a million studs.

Do not ignore the bonus levels. They are short, full of enemies, and reward you with studs for every enemy you defeat. Combine a high multiplier with a character that has a fast attack, like The Flash, and you can clear a bonus stage in under two minutes for a huge payout.

Finally, always check the Batcave for hidden studs. The hub world itself hides several large stud deposits behind puzzles and locked doors. A quick sweep of the cave before you start any level adds a nice bonus to your total. With these methods, you will have every character unlocked and every upgrade purchased before you finish the main story.
